1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing this website, requesting a quotation, purchasing any product, or engaging RSER for services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

RSER reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Amendments take effect upon publication on this website.

2. SERVICES

RSER provides:

  • Solar photovoltaic (PV) system supply and installation
  • Residential and commercial solar solutions
  • Online sale of solar-related products
  • Regulatory submission services to relevant authorities

All installations are subject to technical feasibility and regulatory approval.

3. REGULATORY APPROVAL CONDITION

Customer acknowledges and agrees:

  1. Installation shall only proceed after successful approval from relevant authorities including SEDA and TNB.
  2. Approval timelines are beyond RSER’s control.
  3. RSER is not liable for:
    • Application rejection
    • Grid quota limitations
    • Policy changes
    • Incentive changes
    • Regulatory delays

If approval is denied for reasons beyond RSER’s control, RSER shall not be liable for anticipated savings or financial returns.

4. PAYMENT TERMS

  1. No deposit is required prior to regulatory submission unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  2. Payment schedules will be stated in the official quotation or agreement.
  3. Failure to make payment may result in suspension or cancellation of services.
  4. Online payments are subject to third-party payment gateway processing and verification.

RSER shall not be liable for payment processing delays caused by external providers.

5. SITE CONDITIONS & CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS

Customer warrants that:

  • Property structure is suitable for installation.
  • Roof and electrical systems are safe and compliant.
  • All necessary ownership approvals have been obtained.

RSER shall not be liable for:

  • Hidden structural defects
  • Pre-existing electrical faults
  • Roof leaks unrelated to installation
  • Unsafe site conditions

Additional charges may apply if unforeseen conditions require additional work.

6. WARRANTY

6.1 Workmanship Warranty

Workmanship warranty duration varies by selected package and will be stated in writing.

6.2 Manufacturer Warranty

Solar panels, inverters, batteries, and components are subject to manufacturer warranties.

6.3 Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not cover:

  • Natural disasters
  • Lightning
  • Flooding
  • Fire
  • Vandalism
  • Theft
  • Unauthorized modification
  • Third-party interference
  • Lack of maintenance
  • Force majeure events

7. SYSTEM PERFORMANCE DISCLAIMER

Customer acknowledges that:

  • Solar output depends on sunlight, weather, shading, electricity tariff changes, grid performance, and usage behaviour.
  • Estimated savings, ROI, and payback periods are projections only.
  • RSER does not guarantee specific financial outcomes.

Actual performance may vary.

8. LEGAL DISCLAIMER

All information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only.

RSER makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

  • Accuracy
  • Completeness
  • Reliability
  • Availability

RSER shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential loss
  • Loss of profit
  • Business interruption
  • Loss of incentives
  • Regulatory changes
  • Utility tariff changes

Use of this website is at your own risk.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted under Malaysian law:

RSER’s total liability shall not exceed the total contract value paid by the customer.

10. ONLINE SALES TERMS

All products sold online:

  • Are subject to availability
  • May change without notice
  • May be cancelled in case of pricing errors

Custom-installed systems are non-refundable once installation commences.

Refunds and returns are governed by our separate Refunds & Returns Policy.

11. CANCELLATION

Project cancellations are governed by our separate Cancellation Policy, which outlines applicable administrative fees and liability depending on project stage.

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All website content including designs, proposals, calculations, logos and images remain the intellectual property of Renewable Solar Energy Resources.

Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

13. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

RSER complies with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia).

Personal data is handled in accordance with our separate Privacy Policy.

14. FORCE MAJEURE

RSER shall not be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control including natural disasters, government restrictions, grid failures, or supply chain disruptions.

By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to all applicable policies.

16. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Malaysian courts.
