CANCELLATION POLICY

1. GENERAL STATEMENT

This Cancellation Policy governs all solar projects and related services provided by RSER and forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

By engaging RSER for any service, you agree to this policy.

Cancellation requests are subject to review and may incur administrative or processing fees depending on the project stage.

2. CANCELLATION REQUESTS

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to:
rsermyconnect@gmail.com

Please include:

  • Project reference number
  • Customer name and contact details
  • Reason for cancellation

RSER will acknowledge receipt of the request within 2 business days.

3. CANCELLATION BEFORE REGULATORY SUBMISSION

  • Customers may cancel without penalty before submission to SEDA or TNB.
  • Administrative fees may apply for preliminary site assessments, engineering, or design work already completed.

4. CANCELLATION AFTER REGULATORY SUBMISSION, BEFORE APPROVAL

  • Customers cancelling after submission but before regulatory approval may incur:
    • Administrative and processing fees
    • Deduction of any fees already paid to authorities
    • Engineering or documentation costs

5. CANCELLATION AFTER REGULATORY APPROVAL, BEFORE INSTALLATION

  • Customers cancelling after approval but before installation may incur:
    • Deduction of costs for ordered or custom equipment
    • Administrative and handling fees
    • Any other costs incurred by RSER in preparing for installation

6. CANCELLATION ONCE INSTALLATION HAS COMMENCED

  • Projects cancelled after installation has started are subject to full payment for work completed.
  • Costs for equipment delivered to site, labour, logistics, and administrative work are non-refundable.

7. CANCELLATION AFTER INSTALLATION COMPLETION

  • Once the system is fully installed and commissioned, cancellation is not permitted.
  • Any concerns regarding system performance will be addressed under the applicable warranty terms.

8. REGULATORY OR EXTERNAL REASONS

  • RSER is not responsible for cancellations due to regulatory rejection, grid quota limitations, or external policy changes.
  • Refunds or cancellations in these cases will be handled in accordance with the Refunds & Returns Policy.

9. FEES AND CHARGES

  • All cancellation fees are communicated in the quotation or service agreement.
  • RSER reserves the right to deduct reasonable administrative, material, and professional costs incurred up to the date of cancellation.

10. GOVERNING LAW

  • This Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of Malaysia.
  • Any disputes arising from cancellation requests are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Malaysian courts.
